Dear Anahita,
Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our apologies for the confusion regarding the status of your funds.
After a thorough secondary review of your account and the transaction history from April 9th, we would like to provide an important clarification. Because your cancellation was requested and processed on the same day the order was placed, the transaction was handled as a void rather than a refund.
What this means for your account:
No Funds Were Taken: In these instances, the initial charge is processed as an "Authorization Hold" by your bank. When we cancelled the order the same day, that hold was released immediately on our end.
Statement Appearance: Because the transaction was voided, you will not see a "refund" credit on your statement. Instead, the original "Pending" charge from April 9th should simply disappear from your transaction history entirely, or the line item will vanish as if the purchase never occurred.
Next Steps: We recommend checking your bank statement specifically for the date of the transaction. Rather than looking for a credit, please verify if the original charge is still appearing as "Cleared" or "Posted."
If your bank still shows these funds as deducted from your balance, please let us know.
Safe travels!
Dear Mary,
Thank you for reaching out. First and foremost, please accept our apologies for the stress this situation caused, especially given your pregnancy and the strict timeline you were managing. We understand how vital timely communication is when travel dates are approaching.
We have conducted a detailed review of your file and the communication history. Our records show that we were eager to connect with you early in the process; consultation invites were sent on January 7th and again on January 19th. Unfortunately, as these invites went unanswered, we were unable to provide the initial guidance intended for your application.
However, we also recognize the breakdown that occurred later in February. While documents were being processed on the 18th, your specialist’s subsequent personal emergency created a gap in communication at a time when you were facing an urgent deadline. We sincerely regret that a backup specialist did not close that loop with you effectively.
Regarding your refund: We hear your frustration regarding the "service completed" status. While preparation work was done on the backend, we acknowledge that you did not receive the face-to-face consultation session and ultimately secured the visa through your own efforts.
Because of the unique circumstances and the communication gap in February, we are overturning the previous decision. A refund for the consultation service has been approved. You will receive a confirmation email shortly, and the funds should appear in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.
We wish you a very safe and healthy pregnancy and a smooth journey to Nicaragua.
Best regards,
The VisaHQ Team
Dear Travis,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Please accept our sincere apologies for the lack of clarity and the frustration you’ve experienced. We understand that being "in limbo" regarding your passport and travel plans is incredibly stressful, and we want to address your points directly based on our review of your file.
Communication & Status Updates: We acknowledge that the communication you received—stating uncertainty regarding your request—fell short of the professional standard we aim to provide. Our records show that your specialist, Emily, was working through a complex situation involving your previous visa, but we regret that this resulted in a lack of direct answers for you.
The "Two-Step" Process & Processing Times: The difficulty in providing a fixed timeline is due to a recent change in how the Chinese Consulate operates. They have implemented a mandatory Preliminary Review (COVA) system. We are required to submit your digital application first and cannot send your physical passport to the embassy for final issuance until the Consulate clears this initial stage. Because the Consulate controls this timeline, we are often at the mercy of their current volume, but we clearly should have been more transparent with you about this wait time.
Regarding the Upgrades and Shipping: Our team recommended overnight shipping because, under the new two-step system, every day counts. Once the Consulate clears the preliminary review, having your physical documents and a pre-paid overnight label ready allows us to move instantly to the final submission phase. However, we realize that requesting these payments without providing consistent updates made the process feel evasive rather than proactive.
Current Status: Your application was officially moved to the Submitted phase on April 1st. We are monitoring the Consulate’s portal daily for the approval needed to send your passport in for the final stamp.
A senior manager will reach out to you to provide a personal update and ensure you have a clear line of communication until your passport is safely back in your hands.
Best regards,
The VisaHQ Team
Dear Gaurav,
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We take your concerns very seriously, as our goal is to provide clear value and expert support throughout the visa process.
We have conducted a thorough review of your order and the communications between you and our team. While our specialists aimed to assist by drafting your application and providing requirement checklists on March 26th, we acknowledge your frustration. If the guidance felt like a duplication of public information and the business letter did not meet our quality standards, then we have not met the level of service we strive for.
Furthermore, we regret any confusion regarding the submission process. In many regions, the Singapore Consulate requires applications to be lodged through an "Authorized Visa Agent" or a local contact. Our service is meant to prepare you for this step, but we understand how frustrating it is to feel this wasn't made clear until after you had done the heavy lifting yourself.
Regarding your refund: We value your time and your feedback. Because you ended up preparing the majority of the application independently and were dissatisfied with the quality of the documents provided, we have approved a full refund of your consultancy and business letter fees.
You will receive a confirmation email regarding this transaction shortly, and the funds should reflect in your account within 5–7 business days.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, as it allows us to improve our services for future travelers.
Best regards,
The VisaHQ Team
Dear Michelle,
We sincerely apologize for the frustration and the financial loss you’ve experienced regarding your trip to Nigeria. We understand how devastating it is to have travel plans disrupted due to visa validity issues, and we take your feedback seriously.
While we strive to ensure every traveler has a seamless experience, the final decision on visa dates and processing speed rests entirely with the Nigerian Issuing Authorities. Based on our records of your application, we would like to provide some context on the steps we took to assist you:
Immediate Action on Validity: When your first e-visa was issued by the authorities on October 27, we immediately noted that the expiration date provided by the government (January 11) did not cover your February travel. We contacted the authorities the very next day to request a correction.
Government Restrictions: The Nigerian Embassy informed us that a new application could not be processed while a "valid" one existed in their system. As a result, we had to wait until that visa expired on January 1 to re-apply for you, which our team did immediately on that date.
Persistent Follow-ups: Throughout January and February, our specialists (including Iryna and Aiko) sent multiple inquiries to the Embassy regarding the processing delay. We passed along the Embassy's requests for additional documents (like bank statements) as soon as we received them on March 11.
Communication: Our logs show consistent email updates sent to you throughout this period to keep you informed of the Embassy's status, even when the authorities requested "patience" during their internal review.
We are truly sorry that the government’s processing timeline resulted in a visa you could not use. Unfortunately, the fees paid to the consulate and for the service are non-refundable once processed by the government.
Best regards,
The VisaHQ Team
Dear Nina,
We’re very sorry to hear that you were unable to attend your family event and understand how upsetting that must be.
However, throughout the process our team sent multiple emails and calls clearly outlining the required documents and specifically requesting stamped bank statements, a complete itinerary, and accommodation covering the full duration of the trip. We also repeatedly noted that the documents provided were incomplete or not compliant with the consulate’s requirements and advised that the application package is incomplete.
Unfortunately, the requested documents were not provided in the required format prior to the appointment. While we do our best to guide applicants, the final responsibility for submitting complete and compliant documentation rests with the applicant, and visa decisions are made solely by the consulate.
We regret that the outcome affected your travel plans and wish you the best should you decide to reapply in the future.
Sincerely,
VisaHQ Team

Visa Hq 对我的帮助非常有帮助……
Visa Hq 对帮助我作为尼日利亚人获得土耳其签证非常有帮助。整个过程完美无缺,我很欣赏他们的专业精神。
We take allegations of this nature very seriously and would like to clarify the details of your experience, as there appears to be a significant misunderstanding regarding the services provided and how the visa process works. As you know, your order was refunded in full.
Service vs. Government Fees: The initial fees paid to VisaHQ cover our professional consultation and document preparation services. As discussed during your intake, government visa fees and embassy appointment costs are separate charges mandated by the consulate, which we cannot pay out of pocket on a client's behalf.
Appointment Availability: While we assist in securing appointments, we do not control the embassy’s calendar. Unfortunately, some countries currently have no immediate availability due to high demand. Our specialists work to find the earliest possible slots as they become available.
We understand that the lack of immediate embassy openings is frustrating. However, this is a matter of government scheduling rather than a "hidden cost" or a lack of service on our part.
Please reach out to our support directly if you have any further questions.
