Margy, we are sorry to hear about this. Apon review, we do see that the original policy was optioned as Annual with no automatic renewal. However, we do see that a total of 5 Renewal Reminder notices (email and postal) were sent, staring at approximately 60 days prior to the policy expiration date. We have confirmed your current policy is optioned for an automatic renewal, and it as well will receive reminder notification, Automatic Renewal reminders, prior to the renewal as well.

We are sorry to hear you initially had login issues but are glad you were able to get your claim filed at that time while the login issue was being resolved. After reviewing your claim, the Claim Department, and your adjuster did all they could to assist with your claim, which they were able to get categorized as a claimable event vs. a "lost" device, typically not covered (see your Policy Booklet/Terms and Conditions under Mysterious Disappearance) for a claim. As such, additional documentation was required from you as this is actual insurance, not a warranty or service contract. We will look into if there were avoidable delays on our process but at this time some of that additional time appeared to be waiting on that additional documentation needed from you. The claim payout (which was minus your deductible) was the value of your device at the time of the claim.
