Didn't receive my item, terrible customer service the violates Consumers Rights Act
Didn't receive my item, so can't rate the item. But customer service is awful.
The courier they used ignored delivery instructions and left the parcel in an unsafe location, and marked as delivered. Reached out to customer service and was told that it was marked as delivered by the courier and risk of the parcel is passed on to me.
I pointed out that goes against section 29 of The Consumer Rights Act 2015. But apparently they think their delivery policy beats that. Refuses to give me a formal complaint procedure or if they are willing to use an ADR, asked 7 times and they never acknowledged it and are now not responding.
# XSONIC AIRSTEP KAT – Good product, disappointing after-sales support
I purchased an XSONIC AIRSTEP KAT directly from the official XSONIC website on **12 December 2024**.
The pedal worked well until it completely failed during normal use. It would no longer power on or function correctly. I followed all troubleshooting steps recommended by XSONIC, but the unit remained unusable.
I contacted XSONIC support and provided the requested information, including proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
My experience with the support process was disappointing.
Rather than addressing my request under the statutory consumer rights that apply to my purchase as an EU consumer, XSONIC repeatedly referred only to its own one-year commercial warranty policy and declined warranty service because the purchase was more than one year old.
I explained several times that my request was based on the legal consumer guarantee rather than the company's voluntary commercial warranty. Unfortunately, I never received a substantive legal response to those arguments. The replies consistently referred back to the same one-year warranty policy.
The hardware itself was good while it worked, but customer service is an important part of the ownership experience.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend buying directly from the manufacturer unless you are comfortable accepting the level of after-sales support that I experienced.

I bought a U looper pedal. It claims to work on a Spark mini amp. It doesn't. The delay between recording and playback is so long it is unusable.
The casing seems solid. Good build quality. Maybe it works fine with regular amps.
I´ve bought an airstep tx. No function. No answer of the helpdesk. Therefore I´ve tried every solution AI made, for 7 hours. No funktion at all. I know, the company is in China, but such a poor support is outstanding. Don´t buy!
Didnt receive my package, trackers show that it is returned to sender, although they've been ignoring me for months now, 120$ scam, Link to order #38**8- Number: VR744****80YP
Hate this company so much
I was a bit nervous of ordering cause all the bad reviews (don’t get it).
I ordered Airstep TX from Sweden and everything went just fine! Payed with PayPal and I could track the shipping just fine. Ordered it on the 8th of January and got it in my hands on the 21st of January (<2 weeks). The Airstep works perfectly so far.
Cheaply made, which OK fair enough there's a reason why we buy from them first before Boss or real manufacturers, but XSONIC falsely advertises a "1 year warranty;" this does not exist - do not be fooled. Once their cheaply made stuff starts falling apart after a few months, you're on your own.
Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money on getting the proper gear from Boss or whoever makes the real version of what you need.
XSONIC will not have your back if something faulty happens.
To me in Sweden within 4 days. I read the other reviews here and nearly didn't buy it due to these reviews here. Bought with PayPal as I was sure I could get a refund if necessary. After purchase I got a shipping notice through swiship.de and it mentioned Airmee. I couldn't get any further information through Airmee but then yesterday they (Airmee) changed the status (same shipping notice) to they had received it and it was at my door on the same evening.
They gave me a bogus return address and keep sending me the same bogus address. Obviously, I can’t get a refund if I can’t get it back to the company. What a scam!!
I bought the ulooper, and i got it. Fast in time. But a month and 8 days after i got it, the got the ulooper on 30% discount. They wont give me anything because it's more than 30 days ago i got it.. Don't buy anything there again ....
Returning an AIRSTEP YT footswitch using the “30 days no quibble” returns guarantee requires UK customers to send the AIRSTEP YT to USA at considerable cost, so not really viable.
Not sure if this applies to a faulty item.
On reflection I wish I had purchased the BOSS GA-FC foot controller for my Katana 100 amp.
