Cheap but does barely work
I bought a limited plan for Japan. Though I did not use up even 50 % of the data, the speed was extremely slow (0.25 Mbit, as others describe as well, and I did not use a lot of data on that day yet) despite full 5g signal. Makes it impossible to have a phone call in bearable quality. Makes it impossible to read even a newspaper. Purchased an esim from another company that connects to the same network and immediately got 100 Mbit/s. Further, all traffic seems to be sent first through a singaporian sever, since all websites located me there, and this may be the reason why the traffic is so slow. I don't get it. Highly not recommended. Two stars because at least the customer service was responding very fast and refunded me the unused data after several tries to fix the issue.
