Charges Convenience fee to cancel even when it is their fault!
I wanted to book a flight from Mumbai to Birmingham UK on the App. However, when it came to filling in my details, I could not click Female (It remained Grey). I thought this might cause a problem so I called them and asked what I can do. The man said just book it and then call us and we will change it. So I booked the flight with the gender as Male and called them about an hour later. A female picked up this time and said that they can not change the gender and that I would have to cancel the flight. I asked if I would get a refund. She said yes, so I cancelled the flight.
When I looked at my bank account, I had nearly a 1000 rupees less refund. I called them back again and highlighted this. I was told that a convenience fee of that amount cannot be refunded. I pointed out that I can understand this rule if it was my fault but that it was their fault why I had to cancel, so it seems like they are punishing me with a penalty for cancelling when it was their fault. I am very disappointed.
Customer services in the past over the phone have been ok. Not too bad and hence the score of 3*

An excellent experience
An excellent experience. We had organised all transport, stay and experiences through Rustic Travels who did a good job. Guides were good. Just didn’t realise that it would rain so much and so heavily. We were constantly living in wet clothes. We stayed at Tekoma Resort for two nights, which was a lovely place to stay. Nice staff. I am a vegetarian and they catered for my needs. We had booked all meals at the resort. Just a few complaints, one is that it is so humid there that your clothes will not dry outside. There was no provision to dry your clothes. Secondly, there were resident cats roaming around the common areas which is ok most of the time. However, I don’t think it’s acceptable for them to be roaming around during meal times, especially when they jump onto the table. It is not hygienic. All in all, I would recommend Rustic Travels as well as Tekoma Resort. Make sure you wear long leggings and long sleeved tops for fear of mosquitoes, other insects and especially leaches. Insect repellent sprays will not be any good as it will get washed of with your sweat or the rain.
