A Game of two halfs!
Saw a tablet that I wanted to buy. Good price from etoren.com, their item listed via the onbuy website. I was a bit concerned that it was from Singapore, I am in the UK. Item was listed as in stock, and delivery would take two weeks. Purchase made via PayPal gave me confidence. My order stayed in 'Processing' for over a week, which conflicted with it being 'in stock'. I reached out asking for dispatch details. Reply just confirm status, but I noticed it had been moved to 'Waiting for Dispatch'. I waited past the delivery date, no change. I contacted etoren.com again, to be told that item had not been received from the factory and delivery would not be until the new year at the earliest. All this conflicts with 'being in stock'. It suggests that buying from etoren.com can be a lottery as status of stock availability has been misleading. There is one good thing to report. I asked for order to be cancelled and monies refunded. This was done very quickly, so no loss my side. My suggesting to etoren.com, is if you want to ensure buyers confidence, is to make sure your web site is accurate and you keep to your delivery promises. UPDATE and worrying. eToren has done everything they can to deny this transaction took place. Fortunately I had all the correspondence and INVOICE from the purchase, to hand. I would suggest that eToren spend as much effort in fulfilling their sales contract as they do disputing actual cases.
