Effective, not cheap.
It works well - takes some time but is effective at finding files that a different, free software couldn't find. It was a shame not to be able to do a one-off recovery on the trial version as the cost is pretty steep - would be happy to pay that amount if I got to keep the program but seems a lot for the short time period. However, for precious lost files, it does the job well.
