Great device for wireless Android Auto
Bought a brand new car with only wired Android Auto and I was looking for a device so I could avoid the cable. I stumbled upon the Carlinkit 4.0 and it worked great for a couple of weeks and the it wasn't detected by the cars multimedia system. I tried a lot of stuff and then wrote an email to the support team. They responded within a couple of hours suggesting a lot of things, but nothing did the job. Finally I found the solution on their website, explaining how to connect to the dongle and update the firmware. After a couple of tries (I work with this for a living, but it's not just plain simple anyway) I managed to update it to the latest version and finally did a reset. Now it has been working for several days in a row and I hope for it to maintain that stability. I can recommend the Carlinkit 4.0 and their support team.
