Requires bank statements without allowing redacting sensitive information
After placing an order, I received a request to upload documents to prove my identity and that I'm not using a stolen card. Fair enough. They requested a picture of the credit card used with the digits 7 to 10 masked. Fine. Then they requested a bank statement for that card, however they required that the bank statement is NOT REDACTED. Like, AT ALL. Meaning that if your bank statement shows the card number in full, well they want to card in full. They also get the credit limit, current balance, all the other transactions that have nothing to do with Moogold, etc... All of this information is in no way required to prove somebody's identity, however were these documents leaked in any way, it would enable identity theft. This is a dangerous practice and people should stop allowing them to get away with this. I will never use MooGold again and encourage everyone to avoid them like the plague if you care about your privacy and sensitive information to leak online.
