REFUSING A REFUND!
I enrolled for a subscription and paid $598.80. In a couple of days I changed my mind and requested a refund as I was well within my rights of changing my mind within 14days. The company refuses to issue me a refund and instead are offering me a credit to be used for other subscription. I sent several emails to subscription@seekingalpha stating Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, I am entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for digital subscriptions, starting the day after the contract is made, in my case the contract was made on 1st of June. While Seeking Alpha's policy states that some products are non-refundable, statutory UK and EU consumer rights generally override these terms for purchases made within the 14-day cooling-off window. Absolutely shocking that they would treat customers like this and be greedy!
