Clifton 10 Hoka Quality Issues
I purchased a pair of Clifton 10 Hoka trainers in June 2026. I am 55 and only use my trainers at the gym and for road running. Unfortunately, after 2 months they started to rip, so I reached out to Hoka Customer Services. Their response was as follows, "Regarding the image provided of the rear of the soles, the damage shown does not appear to be the result of a manufacturing fault but rather consistent with external or accidental damage. As you can understand, we wouldn't normally expect the foam to split in this way without some form of external force or impact. " Surely trainers that are made for the gym should be able to withstand 2 months of gym use? I'm not sure what they think a 55-year-old woman does in the gym?! It's clearly a quality issue, but they are unwilling to take any responsibility. My advice don't buy from this company if you want quality trainers as they lack any form of customer service.
