Disappointing
I ordered a custom sized dress for the wedding in October. I paid extra for that and also confirmed it would be not refundable, how stupid of me!!!! What came out of the box when I finally got it on 16/09/22, after 2 weeks of waiting was a disgrace. I am tall, I expected a custom size to be tall!!!! I gave them my height for that reason. If I wanted the dress that looks like I borrowed it from a shorter person and hoped for the best I could have done it easily- all dresses are too short for me normally !!! The dress is not only short, my waist is 5 cm below the waist in the dress, breast area looks like I should have 2 boobs tight together in the middle and spaces on the side- not even push up bra can't make it happen, the zipper at the back is sown so tight it gets stuck when unzipping every time, on right the side of the top part the lace is cut uneven and creates like 1 cm lip over the fabric. I am furious that I actually trusted that if I pay for it it's going to be done correctly. It's a trap people- they know you signed NO REFUND and they don't care what they send back to you. I am 4 weeks before the wedding of my son without the dress and with an over £200 lesson what not to pay for. On the bright side -1 star- I like the colour- not exactly a burgundy I ordered- completely different then on the web-but I look good in it- shame I can't wear it. Normally I don't write a review unless a 5 star but just couldn't let them get away with this. That is not right. After I posted the review I was contacted by customer services offering 30% refund as a good will gesture. i do greatly appreciate as it can now be put towards a new outfit. That made me change the rating. from 1 star to 3 for trying to make it right.
