US Mobile

Switched four lines to save money. Now all four are buried in 15 to 20 scam calls a day, and there is simply no fix.

I moved my family's four numbers from T-Mobile to US Mobile in late 2025 to save money. I want to be specific and fair, because I'd rather this review be believed than dismissed as a rant. We ported four numbers we've had for years, three onto Light Speed (their T-Mobile network) and one onto Dark Star (their AT&T network). On T-Mobile, across all four lines, we got the occasional spam call like anyone does. Within weeks of switching to US Mobile, every single line started receiving a relentless flood of scam and robocalls, loan offers mostly. It is now 15 to 20 scam calls per day, per line. Four lines. Every day. This is not exaggeration. It's the number I gave their own support team, and they didn't dispute it. The timing is the part I can't get past. Four numbers that were clean for years on T-Mobile, all inundated within weeks of moving to US Mobile, all still buried today. I can't prove how my numbers ended up on every auto-dialer list in the country the moment I switched, and I'm not going to claim I can. But I don't believe four independent lines start blowing up simultaneously by coincidence. US Mobile told me in writing they "do not sell, rent, or provide" my data. I'll let the timing speak for itself. Here is the honest heart of the problem, and why I'm writing this. There is no fix. I went back and forth with support over months, across five different reps, and at the end of it the reality was simple: once the numbers were compromised, nothing US Mobile could do would undo it. Everything they offered was a way to live around the damage, not repair it: Kill the number and start over. They offered to swap my "compromised" numbers for brand-new ones. I've had these numbers for years. My bank, my doctors, my son's medical providers, my family, everyone has them. Telling a customer the fix is to abandon their own phone number is not a fix at all. It's a confirmation that the number is gone. Cripple the phone. They suggested iPhone's "Silence Unknown Callers." I can't. My son has special needs, and we get critical calls from medical practitioners on unknown numbers constantly. That setting would send the calls that actually matter straight to voicemail while doing nothing to repair the underlying problem. Pay more to move networks, for a feature that only labels calls. Their network-level spam filtering ("Spam Detect") lives on their Warp/Verizon network. My lines are on Light Speed and Dark Star, which their own rep admitted "do not support the same level of network-based spam filtering as Warp." Here's the catch: my promotional plans, which I prepaid for a full year, lock each line to its network for the entire term. To move to Warp I would have to abandon those prepaid promos, upgrade to their standard plan (their rep quoted $390) and pay the prorated difference, and then pay an additional $2/month for Spam Detect on top of that. So the one option that even touches the problem costs me more money. And even then, their own description says Spam Detect only "flags" a call as spam. It labels the call. It does not stop the phone from ringing, and it does not un-leak the number. Register with donotcall.gov and wait 31 days. For illegal robocallers. Who ignore it. This was offered unironically. That is the whole menu. Not one of those options actually solves anything, because there is nothing left to solve on their end. The numbers are out. I gave them every chance. I stayed polite across months and five agents. I took their callback appointment. Nothing changed, because nothing could. My phone, and my wife's, and the others, have gone from tools to liabilities. I now spend a meaningful part of every day screening and blocking numbers that regenerate the next morning. For a household that needs to answer unknown calls, this has been genuinely disruptive. The one honest positive: the mobile hotspot/tethering is strong and fast, and international roaming and calling are included. That's it. That's the entire upside, and it does not come close to outweighing four phones that ring all day with fraud. Whatever money I "saved" was modest to begin with, and it's been more than eaten by the time, stress, and near-uselessness of our phones. If you're considering US Mobile, understand this: if your numbers get compromised the way ours did, there is no button anyone can press to fix it. Run.

PipFarm

A Profitable Trader's Nightmare: My Story of Payout and second free account denial

Like many traders, I saw PipFarm as a great opportunity. Their platform felt good, the spreads were decent, and I was excited to prove my skills. I did just that-passing their 200k challenge and qualifying for a large first payout in very quick order. I was even owed a second 200k account from a promotion. I had done everything they asked. This should have been the start of a great partnership. It was the beginning of the end. Instead of a 'congratulations' and a payout, I was met with silence, followed by the first of many strange requests. My payout was being held pending a "review." This "review" turned into a grueling, unjust interrogation that lasted for weeks and felt like a second job. The demands were relentless: first a survey, then videos, then a hostile live interview where they forced me to log into my accounts with other firms-a huge breach of privacy that I told them was unjust in the moment, a fact they later pretended never happened. After wearing me down, they finally presented their case for not paying me. Their "evidence" was laughable. They accused me of "hedging" over a single trade that had a different size, at a different time, at a different firm, with a different strategy. They twisted reality to fit their narrative. Then they called me "dishonest" for not reporting other firms I joined after their onboarding was finished, inventing a rule of perpetual reporting that never existed. And that's when it all became clear. This wasn't a misunderstanding. This was a hunt. They saw a profitable trader who passed their tests too easily, and they built a case - no matter how flimsy - to get rid of me before I became a liability. They terminated my account, keeping my fee, my payout, and my future with $400k in potential funding. So I’m writing this for the trader I was a few months ago - hopeful and ready to work. Don't walk, run. A prop firm is a partner you must trust completely. PipFarm showed me that their only real interest is protecting themselves, even if it means betraying the very traders they claim to support. Don't let my story become yours.
