Cracked machine, warranty promise broken, 6+ weeks of silence (Order #65414)
I've had a Rotimatic NEXT since August 2025 — this is already a replacement unit, after the original (Order #65414) arrived in July 2025 faulty and appearing used following a 4-month delivery delay. On 13 May 2025, Rotimatic emailed me confirming a "Complimentary 1-Year Extended Warranty," stating it would be "automatically applied to your order at no extra cost" with "no action required." It never was. The app shows this unit's warranty as a single 12-month term, expiring 25 August 2026 — a full year short of what was promised in writing. On 24 August 2026, the top casing cracked. The machine is now unusable: it falsely reports low oil, and the dough maker fills with excess water/oil instead of forming dough. I reported this by email on 26 August 2026, with photos, to Rotimatic and Zimplistic support and escalation addresses, and via the website chat, which generated Ticket #6470 and promised a Technical Support review from "Monday, 5:00 AM IST." That review never happened. I followed up on 7 September and again with a final notice on 22 September — both to the same addresses, both completely unanswered, not even an automated acknowledgment. One of their internal email addresses (redacted) has had a full mailbox bouncing emails since at least 7 September, still unresolved two weeks later. Six weeks on, I have a cracked, unusable machine, a warranty commitment that was never honoured, and zero response from a company that has had every opportunity — email, chat, and a logged support ticket — to engage.
