The Aosu cameras I initially bought 2 years ago are an older model requiring a “Home Base” unit that can handle up to 4 cameras. I bought two sets of 2 and they were easy to setup, the batteries last for months under continuous use, and the resolution is clear. I was very happy with these. I wanted to expand my coverage in the yard outside so I bought three of the newer models which do not require a “Home Base”, and these too are excellent. There’s a subscription service to store videos in their cloud, and I am not a subscriber. Alternatibvely, an SD card can store videos locally, on the device. One of the cameras I bought included a solar panel - so easy to install, and it keeps that camera’s battery always above 90%, usually at 100% during the day. So I have 7 Aosu cameras covering my yard outside and when I travel I can keep an eye (or 7!) on things. Regarding customer service: one of my oldest cameras showed a blurry image and intermittently disconnected from wifi. It was a year out of warranty, but I wanted to see what support I might get. Contacting Aosu was easy, and the people I emailed and later talked with were knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. Even though my camera was out of warranty, after confirming the defect in the device, they sent me a brand new one at no charge. I did not expect that and was grateful. This is a great product with an excellent team behind it!
