Disappointing Hysapienta air fryer and dismal customer service response…
My 24litre oven trips the Household RCD. Three years old but rarely used because it is not much better ( in performance or energy consumption)than my conventional fan oven. I approached HY sapienta saying that the unit was a poor performer and not fit for purpose. I complained about the RCD tripping that suggested an earth fault, The compan responed by saying simply it's out of warranty, and they were not going to help, ignoring my assertion that the unit was inherently faulty at the point of manufacture and pointing to the plethora of tripping events reported on line. I I moaned again and the manufacturer suggested that I return the unit to China for them to decide how much it would cost to repair or accept a 15% discount on a new unit. Needless to say I declined both offers
