Software FAIL - $69 Gone - and an hour wasted.
I had a SD card from my prior phone and had pictures I wanted to recover. When I couldn't view them on my computer - I purchased Wondershare Recoverit. The file names, sizes etc were all visible prior to the attempted recovery, but the content couldn't be viewed. After running Recoverit until it completed - it said successful recovery. However none of the files had actually been recovered. Cancelling the subscription was tricky, but doable if you looked at the entire page through 2? pages of them trying to get you to stay. That's $69 I'll never see again.
