Kunming/Lijiang with family of 13…
We went to Kunming/Lijiang on a family holiday with 13 people including my 82 year old dad and 74 year old mum down to my 5 year old nephew. So a lot of adjustment and catering needed to be done. We were delayed on arrival due to Air Asia changing their schedule that made us miss our flight. Cause of this Ashley from Odyssey needed to change our pick ups, book new train tickets and rearrange guide for our arrival. All this was done seamlessly and efficiently which was much appreciated when you travelling with elderly. Before our arrival the itinerary and day to day happenings were communicated and we felt assured coming to China. Our time in Lijiang and Kunming were a bit rushed as we ourself requested for a shorter time due to work commitments of those in family. But the guides were accommodating to our various changes as mentioned that we had a myriad of ages in group so different needs and requirements needed to be met. Would say only cause my family is quite big foodies, the places that were recommended by guide especially at Snow Mountain was not up to standard but other places we chose ourselves and was satisfactory. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Odyssey again for anyone’s future travel plans to China.
