varstrom,total rip off
i bought a varstrom 500c display off of ebikesolutions.co.uk, it specifically said in the advertisment that its waterproof, as being a part for a bike especially an ebike anyone would it would be waterproof as standard! it'll a bit stupid if it was'nt as bikes are open to the elements and its mounted handlebars and is a vital electrical device without it the motor wont and what is the point of manufacturing something that has to put up with all types weather. Anyway as we all do we trust what businesses say in their descriptions, well for ebikesolutions.co.uk this the case. one day i was caught in the rain and got soaked a couple of hours later a had to use my bike and to my shock the bvarstrom 500c display i bought from ebikesolutions powered up and the screen went white and then just stopped so i took it off and left it in a warm dry place ,refitted it and still didnt work, so i researched it and found that im the only one that its happen to i then found out that somewhere along the line varstrom sneakily change their advert from saying waterproof to spashproof! i stunned by because who in their right make a vital bike part that isnt waterproof ITS A BIKE PART! its like manufacturing a front and rear light kit that waterproof,i have been seriously ripped off by £57, to everyone who is looking for these kind of parts STEER CLEAR OF VARSTROM AS THEIR PARTS ARE'NT WHAT THEY SAY THEY DO NOT USE VARSTROM
