Honest Review
HOKA Arahi 9 – An Honest Review Here’s my honest update on the HOKA Arahi 9. When you live with diabetes and diabetic neuropathy, finding the right footwear is not simply about fashion, appearance or having a well-known brand name. The comfort, fit, cushioning and overall feel of a shoe can make a genuine difference to your everyday life. That was exactly why I decided to give the Arahi 9 a try. HOKA describes the Arahi 9 as a shoe designed for walking and everyday running, with enhanced H-Frame stability, dual-density cushioning and a supportive design intended to provide a smooth and comfortable ride. (HOKA) Unfortunately, my experience hasn’t lived up to those expectations. I wanted a trainer that would make short walks easier, provide consistent comfort and give me the confidence that I had invested my money in footwear that genuinely suited my needs. For me, the Arahi 9 simply hasn’t delivered what I was hoping for. And that’s disappointing, particularly when you’re paying a premium price for a pair of trainers and expecting the technology and reputation behind the HOKA name to translate into real-world comfort. I’m tired of spending money on different brands hoping that the next pair will finally provide the comfort and support I need. HOKA, this is where I think you’re missing a huge opportunity. There are many people looking for footwear that isn’t just advertised as comfortable, but actually performs when comfort and foot protection are particularly important in everyday life. I am not saying the Arahi 9 is a bad shoe for everyone. Other independent testers have reported very positive experiences with the Arahi range, including good stability and comfort on long walks. (NBC News) But that’s precisely why I believe manufacturers need to listen to customers whose requirements are different. My experience is my experience — and unfortunately, the Arahi 9 hasn’t worked for me. HOKA, please don’t simply see this as another negative review. See it as feedback from a customer asking you to do better. If you can develop footwear that genuinely meets the needs of people who struggle with foot discomfort and sensitivity, you could open up an enormous market of customers who aren’t looking for another fashionable trainer — we’re looking for footwear that makes everyday life easier. So HOKA, please listen, learn from reviews like mine and look beyond the conventional running market. I bought your shoes because I believed in the HOKA name. I just wish the Arahi 9 had lived up to what I needed from it. ⭐ My rating: 2/5 HOKA — over to you.
