DIYer, great customer Service, gree excellent quality thanx comfortup!
Carry and Kevin held my hand through the entire process of my project. They helped me design a system form my home. They were available during my installation with any questions. I had a shipping issue with a line set and they next day shipped it to me so I had no delay in my install. They were again available when I started the units up. Great company. Great customer service. The gree product is very well made and extremely quiet and powerful. I choose gree because homedepot sells them so I figured they were properly vetted. Gree was 1500 cheaper than Fujitsu and daiken and 2 k less than Mitsubishi. I own a renovation company in Mobile al. I did the entire install myself. It was far from easy but I feel it is achievable for the experienced diyer. The ezy pull line sets are of excellent quality and worth the up charge. I ran linsets in my attic. I mounted my heads on boxes so I could access the flare fittings from down below. I built a wooden mount 3’ off the ground for the compressor and poured a concrete slab underneath. Pex 3/4 lines fit the drain lines perfectly with light duty clamps. I shopped around for hvac companies to vacuum and gas. Prices ranged 800, 450, 350-500 and 250. It took the guys 2hrs to vacuumed and fill my 3 heads. My total cost was around 3500 for every thing. Lowest quote was 6800. It took myself and a helper two days to complete.
