My requirements for M9 (desk convertor) was to only need this to expand my workspace for a small desk (dimensions which are 42" width by 21". I did not intend to use the riser for vertical movement. I was thinking that I could place this riser on the table so it would expand my width to 46.9" and length to 31.2 I would leave it in the lowest position - although I would have to remove the casters in the front so as not to tilt the riser if I left it hanging out a bit more at the back. I asked support/customer service and Vince agreed that it could be done when several had suggested that it was not recommended. I did not want to purchase and return.
