I purchased an Apple iPhone 17 pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro Max Clear Case with MagSafe in December 2025 and February 2026 respectively. The iPhone 17 Pro Max Clear Case with MagSafe advert description included a statement to protect my iPhone from drops and scratches - see excerpt below. “ Like every Apple-designed case, it undergoes thousands of hours of testing throughout the design and manufacturing process. So not only does it look great, it's built to protect your iPhone from scratches and drops.” Unfortunately the case did not protect my phone from drops as advertised and as such when I was out walking, and got bumped into by someone, my phone dropped and the screen cracked with the side of the phone dented. However Apple has refused to fix it without charge even though Apple falsely advertised that the case would protect my phone when it did not.
