Recoverit Failed Completely and Refund Denied
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Wondershare Recoverit was so bad that I feel obliged to warn others. I purchased Wondershare Recoverit on August 25, 2025. The product is sold with a 7-day money-back guarantee for Data Recovery software, a promise displayed clearly on their website and refund policy. Believing this, I gave it a chance. The software completely failed to deliver. It did not recover a single file, despite the fact that the files were recently deleted and should have been recoverable. In other words, the core purpose of the product was not fulfilled. Naturally, I requested a refund — within 24 hours of purchase, well inside their 7-day guarantee period. To my shock, Wondershare denied the refund with a canned response claiming it “does not comply with the refund policy.” No explanation beyond a vague copy-paste excuse was given, and no attempt was made to address the actual failure of their software. This is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Offering a “7-day money-back guarantee” but then refusing refunds when customers request them is deceptive and borders on scam behavior. The refusal undermines consumer trust and violates the very terms Wondershare publicly advertises. To make matters worse, the support process is slow, opaque, and dismissive. They encourage you to submit “technical issue” details, but instead of acknowledging the obvious software failure, they hide behind excuses to avoid honoring their guarantee. In short: The product did not work. I requested a refund within 24 hours. Their own 7-day refund policy applies to this case. Wondershare still denied my request without justification. This company appears to rely on fine print and deliberate obstruction to trap customers into paying for non-functional software. That is not acceptable business practice. I am left with nothing but wasted time, wasted money, and an extremely sour taste in my mouth. Unless Wondershare changes its approach and honors its own guarantees, I will never use or recommend their products again. Avoid Wondershare. Their “guarantees” are not worth the pixels they’re printed on.
