I was scammed on Aug 6 and had to cancel ALL my credit cards including MyDermDream. I had placed 1 order with them and did not have auto pay. Today I get an email that says I have an order coming today from them. I call an got a very very nice person who helped me find out what was going on. Some companies have what is called a digital number that was.put there from your first order and MyDermDreams helped me understand that even though I had cancelled the card I had before August 6th that did not remove that digital number from way back to my first order. Since I never ordered and do not have auto pay MyDermDreams said even if I do get that order I could keep it and not owe anything. I called my main credit card and was assured that I indeed had canceled that old card and they went in and removed that old digital number. This is something I just learned today. I do hope this info is helpful to anyone else who gets emails that a order is coming that they did not order. I was told that companies can keep this digital number that your credit card may be canceled for up to 2 or 3 years. So if you get a emaol or text that says you are getting an item you did not order make sure you do not click on it and call you credit card company where you got the new card. I had always wondered why I would get an item from an old company that I ordered from years ago and never even had any contact with...this is why. Please I hope this helps others.
