BUYER BEWARE - Breville Milk Café Frothe BMF600XL, Brushed Stainless Steel
I contacted the Breville company for an issue with my product, Breville Milk Café Frothe BMF600XL, Brushed Stainless Steel- that was well-known, as this issue is listed over and over on Amazon. I did not heed the warning of the other reviews, as I had an exceptional experience with Breville products before this purchase. While Breville customer service was cordial, the wait times exceeded 15 minutes for both calls required to get my warrantied item replaced. The customer service rep told me that although the Breville company would be replacing the item that I have had just short of 3 months, the new item would not have a new warranty; the defective item's warranty was tacked on to this replacement product. Refusing to fully warranty a "new" replacement is further stating that you know this is a defective product that you are pushing. This Milk frother is $199.00, and I paid full price for it. This should be able to withstand once-daily use for longer than 3 months without issues.
