Access to your TurboTenant account is temporarily restricted due to unusual activity.
Setup an account, then setup my rental. Shortly after. I get an email. "Access to your TurboTenant account is temporarily restricted due to unusual activity. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you believe this is an error, please fill out this appeal form for our review or reply to this email directly. Thank you, TurboTenant Security Team" I appealed, and asked did I do wrong or incorrect. Got an email back. "Thank you for submitting an appeal regarding your account’s status on our platform. After a thorough review of your case, we have determined that the decision to maintain your account suspension will stand, and this decision is final. We understand this may not be the outcome you hoped for. Our policies are in place to ensure the integrity and safety of our platform for all users. If you have any further questions about our policies, please refer to our Terms of Service or contact our support team. Respectfully, Kaelyn" Still would not let me know what was wrong with my account or post of the rental setup. I then got this message. with still with no knowledge of knowing what was wrong. Our security team goes through a strict protocol for verifying the information users provide in order to set up an account and utilize rent payments and/or marketing through our platform. While we cannot specifically explain our security process to our users due to confidentiality reasons, we can assure you that a number of our verification methods did not meet our threshold as legitimate in this instance. TurboTenant has the right to admit or deny access to our platform pursuant to our Terms of Use which state, "We have the right to disable any username, password or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time in our sole discretion for any or no reason, including if, in our opinion, you have violated any provision of the Terms." What a joke. I guess I should be glad that things went this way and they showed their true colors ahead of time and wasted more of my time.
