Odor smell coming from replacement carpet Renew provided
A carpet was fitted through my insurance and from the day it was installed, it has had a strong odur smell. I reported it immediately literally a few minutes after the fitters left. After I raised this concern an inspector came to visit and reported that they couldn’t smell anything. The smell is very noticeable to me and has also been noticed by my neighbour and my family members. I don’t even want the carpet replaced — I actually like it. I simply want to know what is causing the smell and how to get rid of it. I am the person living with it every day, and the smell is so noticeable that I can smell it as soon as I walk into my home.
