Poor communication leads to my expensive mistake
This service is sort of like purchasing from a used car salesman. I was drawn in by the coupons, so I purchased a lapdock for about $67 dollars more or less. The shipping lines are listed under the product before you purchase it. They have an extremely vague page explaining why the lines listed may not be available. The shipping for the single product, is over $70. Any other Chinese forwarding agent would charge half that for the same product (I have used others). I contacted support asking about why the shipping lines are limited to three, when they have over 20 listed under the product I just purchased. They said it's because of the battery in the product, and that and I quote: "Our general channel page does not cover all special cargo exceptions." as well as "At present, our system does not show these cargo-specific restrictions on the product page in advance. The filter only activates after you submit the parcel information.". This company isn't scamming, they do buy the product and I bet are willing to ship it to you. It is just extremely misleading, expensive, and has poor communication as demonstrated here. If I had known they restrict nearly every shipping line down to the most expensive ones for the product I was purchasing, I would have avoided it altogether. Instead they admit that their pages don't cover it in detail, and tell me I don't have any other option. edit: theyve used extremely heavy packing material for the item, and have just billed me an additional $30. over $100 shipping for a $67 dollar item.
