Some great cordless tools, but the mower is disappointing
We use several Ryobi 40V tools in our home, including the electric lawn mower, leaf blower, and weed trimmer. The blower and trimmer have been great — they’re easy to use, have plenty of power for normal yard work, and are convenient compared to gas tools. The lawn mower, however, has been a letdown. It struggles more than expected and doesn’t handle thicker grass very well, which means it takes more passes and more time to get the job done. Overall Ryobi has some really good cordless tools, but the mower hasn’t lived up to the same standard as the rest of the lineup.
