SCAM ALERT
SCAM ALERT: Hidden subscription trap! Do not buy! Total misleading scam! - Read this before buying. I bought what I thought was a one-time low-cost product, but they secretly enrolled me in an expensive recurring subscription. They hide their terms to trick you into ongoing charges without your clear consent. Remember to cancel this subscription THEY have enrolled you in without delay. Make sure you read every email they send to you. They sign you up as if it is a gift that you have not asked for. The email is manned by an AI Customer service team that makes it incredibly difficult to cancel, and they refuse to issue refunds for these unauthorised charges. Automated AI customer service repeats the same old garbage of no refunds, even though they have a money-back guarantee. The emails just repeat that they will not refund a 40 dollar subsciption which they enrol you in as if they are giving you something for free. Do not trust this company. If you have been charged, call your bank immediately to dispute the transactions and block future payments! Cancel the unwanted subscription as soon as possible if you have not willingly signed up for it. Reply to NewMind Start: Out of the many emails you bombarded me with for my purchase, the one that gave me the login details says halfway down the email:- "We are excited to inform you that your 7-day free trial on Newmindstart.com has now officially begun! We're thrilled to have you onboard and hope you enjoy everything our platform has to offer during this period" NO, price NO, information to say I have to unsubscribe from something I did not even ask for or want. Tell me where in that email it says the following: It clearly states that I am signing up for a recurring subscription; It clearly states the amount that will be charged after the initial payment; It clearly explains that I must actively cancel to avoid future charges; and It makes it obvious that I am agreeing to anything other than the one-off payment I selected. Nowhere does it say this!!! From my perspective, the email shows a one-off payment for the exercise video together with a money-back guarantee. At no point did I knowingly agree to an ongoing subscription or authorise recurring payments. A consumer should not be expected to search for hidden or unclear terms to discover that they are committing to future charges. If the subscription, its price, the billing frequency, and the need to cancel are not presented prominently and transparently before payment, then informed consent has not been obtained. This is why I believe the subscription was added through a misleading checkout process. Had the recurring nature of the service and the subsequent charge of €42.68 been clearly disclosed, I would never have proceeded with the purchase.
