Avoid — sent used item as new, then buried me in bureaucracy to avoid refunding
I ordered 2 magnetic frame, clearly listed and paid for as brand new. What I received was visibly used — [scratches/wear/dust/missing seals — be specific]. It did not match the listing photos in any meaningful way. This was not a minor discrepancy; it was a completely different product condition than what I paid for. When I raised a dispute, Alibaba.com closed the case citing a "logistics issue" — a reason that had absolutely nothing to do with my complaint. This alone tells me the case was not properly reviewed the first time around. When I pushed back and appealed, I was told that a mandatory piece of evidence — the original shipping label — was required, despite the fact that no reasonable buyer keeps a shipping label after unpacking a delivered item. This requirement effectively makes it impossible for genuine claims to succeed, regardless of how clear the evidence of the actual problem is. The entire process felt designed to wear buyers down rather than resolve legitimate issues. I would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase through this platform: document everything obsessively, including packaging and labels, because the dispute process will look for any technical reason to deny your claim rather than engage with the substance of it.
