I purchased jellyfish toys and fidgets through Alibaba and trusted that the company would stand behind its buyer protection and return policies if there was a problem. Instead, my order arrived with damaged packaging and damaged products, making many of the items unsellable. After spending months providing photos, communicating with the seller, and trying to resolve the issue through Alibaba, I still have not received an appropriate resolution. Rather than ensuring that the damaged goods were properly replaced or refunded, Alibaba failed to advocate for the buyer or enforce its own return policies. I am now out approximately $250, along with countless hours spent trying to fix a situation that should have been straightforward. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing toys, fidgets, or similar products through Alibaba. Buyer protection was not what I expected, and I would not trust the platform to resolve problems involving damaged merchandise.
