I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the support I have received. My iPhone suddenly lost all network connectivity and, after taking it to an Apple Store, I was told that the issue is caused by a hardware failure. What is particularly frustrating is the timing: this happened just one month after my AppleCare coverage expired. What a coincidence. Before purchasing the phone in the United States, one of the first things I did was ask specifically what would happen if I experienced a hardware issue while living in Spain. I was reassured that there would be no problem receiving support or service through Apple, regardless of where the device had been purchased. Now, however, I am being told that because my iPhone was originally bought in the United States, Apple Spain cannot repair the faulty component. The only option offered is a complete device replacement at a significant cost. No repair, no component replacement—just an expensive full-device swap. As a customer, this feels completely unreasonable. A hardware failure occurring just one month after AppleCare expires, combined with the inability to repair a premium device simply because it was purchased in another country, creates a very poor customer experience. It is difficult not to feel that this situation encourages unnecessary device replacement rather than repair. For a company that promotes sustainability, quality, and customer satisfaction, I expected a much fairer and more practical solution. Instead, I am left with a defective phone and an extremely costly replacement as my only option. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Apple and gives the impression that long-term customer support is not as global or as customer-focused as advertised.
