So after having the lavieloo for just over two months, I wanted to wait to give my honest review. Firstly I want to say, I think this is the best thing I have ever spent my adult money on!! Taking care of two bunnies(which feels more like looking after two furry toddlers) can be very time consuming when you work full time and then having to clean them every single day too. This litterbox has cut my cleaning time by half (not on the days they throw their hay rack on the floor and decide to throw a hay party) I bought the Lavieloo Essential because that fit my needs. My girl’s full time job was using her old litter box as a dig box (even though she has a designated dig box) and every day without a doubt half of the contents of the litter box was on the floor and I needed something to solve this problem. She also used to sit in her pee all the time, so that was another problem too. I searched for months to try the perfect litterbox and then I came across lavieloo! I was a little bit hesitant at first because I couldn’t see many reviews online but after months of consideration I caved in and ordered one and honestly it was the best decision of my life! It saves me so much time cleaning everyday and my girl is no longer covered in pee! It took a little trial and error on how to set up their hay, because at first they were using the platform part to pee on. But I got a couple of hay basket to cover that corner and it works perfectly now. I use a lot fewer wood pellets now because none of them are all over my floor every day anymore. My bunnies took a liking to it straight away and sometimes I even catch my girl having a quick nap in there from time to time. The plastic grate is a high quality and doesn’t dip when the bunnies sit on it and it’s the perfect size for two bunnies to eat and poop at the same time and the grate size is perfect for the poop to fall through. Sometimes hay sticks to the top, but a quick wipe everyday keeps it maintainable. The cleaning process is easy, I soak it in water with vinegar and washing up liquid for a hour or so and after that it just need a light scrub and I find nothing is stuck in the holes. So far the plastic has stayed odourless using this cleaning method, which I had a problem with with my last litter box. The shipping took just over 60 days to Germany (if you’re a loser like me you can track the container on a vessel tracker, so you know it’s every movement in the sea). The packaging it came in was extremely strong and I just loved the detail and all the writing on the package. You can really tell you guys put so much detail and effort into everything! (It took me a couple of days to notice the logo on the steel base said lavieloo which I found cool) From one bun parent to another (and Bugs & Bunny too) , thankyou so much!
