Safeway Deli food is awful, only thing worse is their customer service
11/8/2025 Cle Elum - bought packaged deli food after deli close. Food was not edible. Staff was insulting when I attempted to return the food. I froze it and am sending it to the health department. Was an unbelievable experience - the ex car salesman guy at the Issaquah self checkout lanes kept mistating what I said - and the Issaquah store manager refused to take back a purchase from another store. I called the Cle Elum store who said they should take it back. Tried to reach out on their customer service page - which letys you type everything in and then does nothing. Safeway is also Ralphs - so this is what happens with a monopoly that absolutely does no care about their customers
