I originally left a positive review for a quick AppleCare hardware replacement, but I deeply regret ever giving this company credit. When my account was hijacked during an identity theft incident, Apple completely turned its back on me. Despite their heavy marketing around privacy and data protection, their support infrastructure demonstrated zero depth of accountability when a real crisis hit. Their failure to protect customer data and total lack of assistance during an account compromise can lead to severe financial damage, loss of livelihood, and catastrophic personal fallout. Do not fall for the privacy marketing. When your identity and data are on the line, Apple’s support offers no real safeguards or meaningful accountability.
