12-month subscription lasted 3 months-G2G refuse to help
12-month subscription lasted 3 months — G2G refuses to help I am extremely disappointed with G2G’s handling of my purchase and its customer support. I paid €23.26 for a 12-month YouTube Premium subscription. It stopped working after approximately three months, leaving around nine months of the advertised subscription unused. I contacted the seller to ask them to fix the problem, but received no meaningful assistance. I then contacted G2G customer support, expecting a marketplace to stand behind the products sold through its platform. Instead, I was repeatedly told that a refund was not possible because the order had previously been confirmed. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had almost exactly the same problem with an earlier 12-month YouTube Premium subscription. I contacted G2G, explained that it had stopped after three months and that the seller was unresponsive, and G2G cancelled that order and refunded me in store credit. I still have the original support ticket and written confirmation of that refund. For my current case, I provided G2G with the previous ticket number and its own written refund confirmation. Rather than explaining why the two cases were treated differently, customer support simply repeated the same policy wording and refused to reconsider the decision. So, despite paying for 12 months and receiving approximately three, I am left without the service or a refund for the unused period. My issue is not simply that I didn’t get the outcome I wanted. It is the lack of a convincing explanation, the apparent inconsistency in how similar cases are handled, and the feeling that once an order is marked confirmed, the buyer is left with little practical protection if a subscription subsequently fails. Based on this experience, I would be very reluctant to purchase another subscription through G2G. Buyers should be aware that a subscription advertised for 12 months may not last that long, and resolving the problem with customer support may prove extremely frustrating.
