Yet more ‘five minute and die’ Chinese junk
A friend who install cctv systems gave me a Sricam surveillance as a gift. I installed it and it worked well. I then purchased three more myself and installed a second camera one month after the first. All worked well for approx two months then both cameras died simultaneously! I tried reinstalling software and reconnecting the cameras for hours before giving up. Strange how both died at exactly the same time? I just discovered the other two cameras still boxed and wasted another two hours pointlessly trying to get them working. You go through the lengthy process of bleeps pings and ‘crashes resets’ before giving up. Are these simply Chinese surveillance cameras the Chinese use to peep into our lives before switching off as soon as they see “nothing to see here”? So to summerise. Yet more cheap useless Chinese junk that we buy in good faith then throw away. Go with someone reputable like Ring etc. or save yourself time and frustration and flush some cash down the toilet.
