My alarm keypad problem turned out to be a false alarm.
The technician showed up on time after making his "30 minutes out call". I explained my problem with the key pad on my alarm box. He did some diagnostics and we did some test runs and ultimately we decided that there was nothing wrong with the keypad. He was polite and informative.
