West my money

I am writing to formally complain about my extremely disappointing experience while travelling from London to Chandigarh via Delhi on 10th September. My flight from London was scheduled to depart at 8:15 PM, but it actually departed at around 9:20 PM. The scheduled arrival time in Delhi was 11:00 AM, but my flight actually arrived at around 12:10 PM. After landing in Delhi, I completed immigration and collected my luggage. By around 1:30 PM, I had already reached the domestic airport and was inside the IndiGo area for my connecting flight to Chandigarh, which was scheduled for 2:00 PM. However, instead of helping me, the IndiGo staff refused to accept me and kept sending me from one place to another. I was first told to go to another zone, and then I was told that I needed to drop my luggage. I was already rushing because of the delay, but the staff kept sending me between different counters and zones instead of giving me clear and proper assistance. Because of this poor coordination and lack of assistance, my 2:00 PM connecting flight to Chandigarh was missed. What made the situation even worse was that when I went for rebooking, IndiGo staff initially asked me to pay ₹3,000 for the new ticket. I questioned why I should pay when the situation was caused by the delayed flight and the lack of proper assistance from IndiGo. After I explained everything, they eventually agreed and rebooked my flight without charging me the ₹3,000. I had already travelled a very long distance from London, and after reaching Delhi I was left running around between different counters without anyone taking responsibility or giving me a clear answer. I also paid a higher fare expecting my baggage to be handled through to Chandigarh, but at London I was told that I had to collect and drop my baggage again in Delhi. This entire experience was extremely stressful, frustrating and unacceptable. I paid a premium fare but received unclear information, poor coordination and inadequate customer support. I request IndiGo to properly investigate this incident and provide a clear explanation and appropriate resolution for the inconvenience and stress caused to me.

I am extremely disappointed and angry…

I am extremely disappointed and angry with the way IndiGo handled my journey from London to Chandigarh via Delhi on 10th September. My flight from London Heathrow was scheduled to depart at 8:15 PM. It was already around 30 minutes late departing and eventually reached Delhi around 45 minutes late. I had a connecting IndiGo flight from Delhi at 2:00 AM, which was supposed to take me to Chandigarh at around 3:00 AM. The biggest problem was the luggage information. When I booked the ticket, it appeared that my luggage would be handled through to Chandigarh, and I paid a higher fare accordingly. However, when I reached the IndiGo counter at London Heathrow, I was suddenly told that I would have to collect my luggage in Delhi and then drop it again for the domestic flight. This was extremely frustrating because I had specifically paid more for the ticket believing that the baggage would be transferred through to Chandigarh. I feel that I wasted my money because of the incorrect or unclear information provided during the booking/check-in process. After reaching Delhi, I completed immigration as quickly as possible. I was already at the upper level around 1:30 AM, well before my 2:00 AM connecting flight. I explained my entire situation to the IndiGo staff and told them that my flight had arrived late and that I had to collect and re-drop my luggage. Instead of helping me, I was repeatedly sent from one place to another. One staff member told me to go to one zone, another told me to go somewhere else. Nobody was willing to give me a clear answer or take responsibility for the situation. I finally went directly to the boarding gate, hoping someone there would help me, but I was told that I still had to drop my luggage. I immediately rushed back to the baggage-drop counter, only to be told that the counter was already closed. This was an absolutely horrible experience. I had just completed an extremely long journey from London, my flight was already 45 minutes late, and despite reaching the airport area well before my connecting flight, I was left running around the airport between different counters with no proper guidance or assistance from IndiGo staff. The most frustrating part is that I was not simply late for my connecting flight. I was there and actively trying to catch it, but due to the late arrival, baggage requirements and, most importantly, the complete lack of coordination and assistance from IndiGo staff, I ended up missing my connection. I paid a premium for my ticket, yet I received unclear baggage information, poor coordination, no proper assistance and an extremely stressful experience after travelling all the way from London. This is completely unacceptable. IndiGo needs to take responsibility for what happened and explain why passengers are given unclear baggage information and then left to deal with the consequences themselves. I am extremely disappointed with IndiGo and would definitely think twice before booking with this airline again.
