Extremely Disappointing — Bait and Switch
I was quoted $395 to replace the battery and polish my watch, and I have the text messages confirming the price and my authorization to proceed. When I went to pick up my watch, I was shocked to be charged $938. I was told additional work was performed and supposedly authorized by the sales associate—not me. I made it clear that I never authorized anything beyond the $395 quote and that the associate should be responsible for any unauthorized work he approved. I was forced to pay the $938 just to get my watch back and was promised a call from a supervisor. That call never came. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a bait-and-switch. I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing and thinking twice before trusting Watches of Switzerland with your business.
