ESTAGE

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed — repeated “ASAP” promises, but no resolution I have been associated with ESTAGE / FourPercent for around 6 years and have always considered myself part of the community. During this entire period, I have never asked for a refund or raised a complaint of this nature. I am now extremely disappointed and, frankly, deeply saddened by how my refund request has been handled. My refund request is related to an older Co-op purchase, and the matter is being handled under Ticket #47417. I have been following up for several weeks, with repeated communication with the support team and Paul Olefirenko, who is responsible for processing refunds. The responses have consistently been along the lines of: “The Team is on it.” “ASAP.” “Anytime.” “It will be done.” “I will let you know once I have an update.” Yet there is still no concrete payment date, no processing confirmation, and no actual resolution. Most recently, on August 27, Paul wrote: “I don't have any updates for you right now... I did follow up with our team... I can assure you - you will be paid asap.” This is precisely the problem. What does “ASAP” actually mean when there is no timeline attached to it? I have repeatedly explained that I am dealing with a genuine personal emergency and urgently need these funds. I have also tried every normal support channel and even reached out through the community because I genuinely did not know where else to escalate the matter. I have tried to remain patient and respectful throughout this process because I believed this community was an extended family. But at some point, patience turns into disappointment. What concerns me most is not simply the delay. It is the complete lack of ownership, accountability, and a definitive answer. If there is a legitimate reason why the refund cannot currently be processed, I would rather be told that honestly. If it can be processed, then I expect a realistic timeline. Instead, I continue to receive variations of “ASAP,” while nothing materially changes. After years of trust and association with the community, this experience has unfortunately eroded a significant amount of that trust. I am writing this review not to attack any individual, but to document my experience so that others can make informed decisions and so that the company understands how this process feels from a customer's perspective. A world-class company should not measure urgency by how many times a customer has to follow up. I sincerely hope ESTAGE proves me wrong, processes the refund, and restores some of the trust that has been lost. I will update this review if and when the refund is actually received. At this moment, however, I am extremely disappointed, frustrated, and genuinely saddened by the experience.
