I will never use Gigsberg again. We purchased tickets for a Kanye West concert months in advance and travelled from Denmark to the Netherlands specifically to attend the event. Despite having a confirmed order, Gigsberg informed us only shortly before the concert that our original tickets were supposedly no longer available. What followed was days of uncertainty, conflicting information, and no concrete answers. Different customer service representatives handled our case, and we often received different messages depending on who replied. At no point did it feel like anyone had ownership of our case or was actively working to resolve it. We were offered replacement tickets that were clearly worse than the ones we had purchased. At the same time, tickets for the same concert were still being sold on Gigsberg’s website, making it difficult to understand why comparable replacements could not be secured immediately. The most frustrating part was how long it took to get a clear answer. We repeatedly received messages saying that Gigsberg was still “checking with the seller” and would update us later. Meanwhile, we had already travelled internationally, booked accommodation, and spent money based on the expectation that our tickets were secure. It was only the evening before the concert that we were finally told that the original tickets would be provided after all. The tickets themselves did not arrive until the day of the event. Yes, we eventually received the tickets and attended the concert. However, when customers purchase tickets months in advance, they should not have to spend the days leading up to the event wondering whether they will be able to attend at all. The tickets were delivered at the very last moment, but the communication, lack of transparency, contradictory information, and unnecessary stress made this an unacceptable customer experience. I cannot recommend Gigsberg and will not use this platform again.
