Positive customer service experience
Purchased a Marathon GSAR from Gnomon watches on Sep 18th and received it only a few days later (shipped DHL Singapore to US) on the 23rd. I was very disappointed to find that the watch I received was non-functional, especially given that the GSAR is supposed to be a tank of a watch. I reached out to the Gnomon info and service emails that same day and received a response on the following Monday from Justin Chee. After completion of a few troubleshooting steps, I was provided a return label and shipped the watch back. A replacement watch was shipped to me the day after my return was received at Gnomon. The replacement functions flawlessly. Frustrating that I had to go through the replacement process, but it went smoothly regardless. Overall an excellent customer service experience. I cannot say for certain where things went wrong with the first watch. Gnomon claims they check every watch that is shipped. If that is true, I would find it very unlikely that they would knowingly send me a completely broken watch. I think it's likely that the watch was damaged during shipping.
