Alibaba protecting the suppliers rather than the consumers
I had a terrible experience with one of the Alibaba suppliers and wanted to leave a review to warn others about the issue. Because the payment to the supplier was made outside of Alibaba—which is common practice—I was unable to leave a review on their website. I approached Alibaba on several occasions, but they refused to assist and eventually stopped responding to my requests. Their actions give the impression that they are protecting suppliers rather than helping inform potential victims.
