Very poor service - payments not completed
I used Superprof as a tutor and found it a very poor service. The app is underdeveloped. Half of the options you might want - such as settings regarding payment - are only available when you log on on desktop, which makes it an ordeal every time I need to request payment from them, which is often, because their payment system doesn't work. You have to use Paypal rather than bank transfer - which for me is enough of a pain in the first place - but I have been waiting on a significant sum of money that they have not begun to process yet. Good luck getting hold of the money you're owed if you use this service or getting hold of someone to speak to about it - they have no contact number; the instant chat on the website/app is an AI; and when you ask to speak to a human, it directs you to an email address which is monitored... you guessed it... by an AI. Second the sneaky fees mentioned by other reviewers - haven't been subject to those myself, thankfully, but when I met my first student, one of the first things she mentioned was her confusion over how the payment structure worked, since she seemed to be being charged £40 a month quite apart from any actual lessons booked.
