I bankrupted because of Nextsmartship
I did a Kickstarter campaign to sell boardgames. When I first contacted them they sent me a pricelist based on excel. After contracting them, when my stock was already at their warehouse, the prices significantly increased, more than doubled in some cases. They were blaming it on Oct 7th, but after that, throughout entire 2024 the logistic prices went down and mine were only going down by a small percentage after I was complaining. But overall the prices kept increasing and not following any logic. They were claiming it was their suppliers that were increasing them but didn't make any sense. They also changed their US provider somewhere towards the end of Q4 to some Piggyship company or whatsoever that was dropping the packages in wrong places and didn't have a way to contact him. Last, but not least, for the last 6 months I've had 30 pieces on transit and they have no clue where they are, so I'm considering them lost by now. I shut down the business, it was not viable to spend 60% of my Gross Margin on delivery costs.
