Goodfish stole my money.
I wanted to subscribe to healthier snacks that I could keep at work, and I love eating salmon skin, so this seemed like a good fit. In early April, I went to the website and subscribed. $36 was deducted from my bank account. Several weeks later, as other reviewers reported, there was an enigmatic email from Goodfish.com about unexplained difficulties, and then silence. Now, the domain is listed as freely available under GoDaddy. After that happened, I used Instagram to message them because I knew that the emails wouldn't go anywhere, as they are using that now-free domain. I had to get a new debit card so the subscription would stop recurring. I contacted Stripe to let them know that a company using their transaction service had been dishonest with customers. I also tried to get refunded by my bank for the purchase that had already been made, but my bank denied to refund me — they are a small bank and they said that I was liable because I had knowingly made the debit card transaction even if the company never fulfilled the order, so unlike Marian, I'll never get that money back. What a deceptive, disgusting business.
