Don't trust "Trusted Companion" warranty, it'll cost you
Well into 1 million miles of air travel my Samsonite finally gave out, and I was eager to check out TravelPro's Maxlite 5 Softside as it was lighter, slightly more compact, and we've heard about TravelPro's legendary durability and "Trusted Companion" warranty. Imagine my dismay when after significantly less usage, the wheels were absolutely shredded. No worries, claim submitted. Now imagine my utter frustration when I'm informed that I have to pay ~$27.25 for "shipping and handling" - and I have to replace them myself.
